Portable diagnosis of brain injuries

Cortirio

Traumatic brain injury is the leading cause of death and disability among the under 40s. Our portable scanners can be used at the point of care to rapidly diagnose and monitor traumatic brain injuries. Saving time saves brain function, preventing disability and death.

Functional near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) is a tool that has been used in medical research for many years. Cortirio’s technology increases the spatial resolution of fNIRS to give useful medical imaging in a portable and wearable device.

We are not currently hiring; however, we will be looking for roles soon across software, electronics, medical device regulation and production.

Please feel free to send a CV to hiring@cortirio.com if you are interested to join us in future. We’ll reach out if a suitable role becomes available.

The role spec shown is illustrative of the types of roles we’ll have on offer. Our work offers the chance to have a big impact on a global problem whilst working at the cutting edge of technology.
